YBF was written as kind of an ode to seasonal depression and shot by Nic Herzog.
Where we're from, has some pretty long, cold winters, and that can make it feel kind of
endless, maybe even a little isolated at times. As the song progressed I felt that
it was also kind of representative of depression in general.
The song is sung from two different points of view in the same relationship, one being the point of view of the person suffering from depression, and the other being the person who's trying to care for the first one, but not quite understanding what's wrong.
